More Than Meets the Eye

Show everyone what you’ve got.

Every business does incredible things. Farmers turn seeds into plants into produce, chefs turn ingredients into dishes, and you take ideas and turn them into reality.

Half the battle of generating new business is being able to show what you can provide the world. Photography is a great starting point of showing off the goods and services you provide, but it can be difficult to know what to shoot and how to make those photographs look their best.

Planning - Let’s grab a chai latte, sit down and hash out a plan. What do you do? How do you want the world to know you? What makes you unique in the ever-growing world of business?

Shooting - With our thirsts quenched, let’s get to work. Roll up the sleeves and capture the things that make you you.

Editing - Wow, you look great in these photos, but let’s touch up a couple of things. Get rid of that weird spot and make you shine, you know, the usual.

Scheduling - Let’s get down to business and schedule those photos to your social platforms so everyone can see you.

Posting - Life moves pretty fast and sometimes we just have to go with it. I’ll capture the moments, event, etc., edit them and get them online for everyone to see.

Reviewing - Let’s put up our feet, grab a chocolate cake shake, and go back through what we did to get here. Did we go above and beyond in certain areas? Could we go further with different content? Then let’s get back to work!

My current work focuses heavily on produce and food photography through the Eastside Farmers’ Market. I have previously done personal work taking photographs of exteriors of buildings such as the Wisconsin State Capitol featured on my Copywriting page.

Dane County Farmers’ Market

I decided to capture the incredible offerings vendors had after helping them set up during the Dane County Farmers’ Market “Art Fair Market” at Breese Stevens Field. The sun provided the needed warmth for both the photos and the market-goers which helped make things even greater than normal.

Jordan’s Big Ten Pub

I found my passion for food and relaxing often led me to Jordan’s Big Ten Pub when I needed a break from studying while in college, or when I needed to unwind after a long day at work. I took the opportunity to photograph some of their incredible food and space when I had some time and the result was amazing.

2021 Family Life Center Pig Roast

I was invited to the 2021 Family Life Center Pig Roast by one of the Eastside Farmers’ Market vendors. I decided it was a great opportunity to put my skills to the test and capture the event for the church and the vendor.

Eastside Farmers’ Market

Every week I have the privilege of capturing the market’s energy. From the produce to the vendors to the guests, it’s always a great challenge to find new ways to show the goods available each week and the wonderful people who make and purchase those goods.
